Short Vertical

How can i increase my vertical leap is a short peroid of time or in a long one?
Its for basketball.
jog a lot, do leg stretches, jog with ankles weights, try running with ankle weights, try to run in water(harder than you think) and as simple as it sounds just jump. do it as many times as you can with all your strength until you are exhausted. rest and repeat daily, you will see dramatic improvements within a month
