Shotgun Forearm
Any help on this old shotgun appreciated.?
I have an old 12 ga. 32 inch barrell shotgun. It is nickle plated from the stock to the forearm piece. The only markings I can find are Carolina Arms Co. No letters or numbers. I also have a 12 ga. 30 inch barrell made by Acme. Some other lettering but can’t make it out. Both were owned by my dad. I don’t when he obtained the Carolina Arms Co. Shotgun but the Acme was owned by his dad. My dad was born in 1925. His dad in 1898. Thats all the info I have.
I Googled Carolina Arms and came up with carolinaarms.com–but another page said that was a linen company (?!)–so I revised the search, and found a site that has some historical info that might help you track down the history of your Carolina shotgun.
The second site I listed has info that I think may be relevant, as well.
The third pertains to your Acme shotgun.
