Call of duty black ops gun sight change?

I am on level 43 at black ops online and it still won’t let me change the colour of my sights on my gun, whats the deal?

Well, you have to click your gun, change your attachments to Red dot sight or reflex site. Then you should have the option seen once you go to your gun again.
