Sights Wgrs
Can you suggest an aftermarket aperture sights for Marlin 780 rifle?
I recently acquired a great little .22LP rifle – Marlin 780. It seems to shoot pretty straight, but I don’t care for the sights much.
I was hoping to find a set of aperture (peep) sights for this rifle.
I was steered to a Williams WGRS-54 which is a rear peep sight that fits the dovetail on the receiver – but it doesn’t have the fine adjustment I’d like – and I’d have to find a higher front sight as well.
Anybody know of a click-adjustable rear peep sight & (if necessary) a complementing front sight – preferably a hooded one – that will fit this rifle? It really should be a no-drilling installation as well. (pick, pick, pick!)
Any ideas?
Thanks
Here is a peep sight. Read the reviews. Also search for more info on it at other sites. Brownell’s has more info, they want $27 more.
