Single Six

How much is my Ruger single six .22 worth?
My Grandmother passed away and she left me my grandfather’s Single Six .22 ser 61217. Ruger says it was man. March 1957. It is in very good condition. Finish is the original blue

You can also do a Google search on the value of your gun and you should be able to get at least a ball park figure by checking out several sites that show up on the search. If it was me, I also would keep the gun if it was my grandfathers. If you don’t shoot and could use the money, that may be something else. I have an old Rail Road watch of my Grand Father that I got after he died. It doesn’t run but I would never sell it unless I had to.
The gun you have is one that you could shoot every week and it would still shoot well when you died and passed it on to the next generation. Those were wonderfully sturdy and accurate guns and I have had 2 of them. If you are not a shooter, why not try it? you might like it a lot.
