Sling Swivel
can i put a sling(and sling mounts) on a NEF 12 guage pardner.?
i dont know what i need but i saw some swivel bases and other screws you can put on a rifle.but i dont know aobut a shotgun they look kinda long.but what do i need to mount a sling on it thankyou.
Yes by yourself or a competent gunsmith. Just make sure on your front swivel stud that the threaded length is not to long as to going all the way through and touching ur barrel. U can measure by removing the forearm stock and comparing stock depth to screw length. Shorten ur screw as needed with a bench grinder or hacksaw. Predrill ur stud holes 3/4 the depth of the stud screw length with a smaller dia drill bit to insure proper seating of the screw lands and also to insure u don’t split the wood while inserting the stud.
