Century Arms FAL L1Al Sporter {Thumbhole type Convert ? or Sell/Trade ?

I have a Century Arms FAL L1Al Sporter {Thumbhole type Convert ? or Sell/Trade ? For Ar-15 / ect… I also have A compltete parts Kit FAL L1A1 as well . I like the Concept of a 7.62X51 / .308 caliber rifle But The FAL L1Al Sporter {Thumbhole type stock } is uncomfortable to shoot it’s more of a upwards Torquing Problem Than a Straight back too much Gun Problem ? I had a Similar problem Though not as severe with My Mak-90 rifle . A n Ak- 74 Type Muzzle Brake solved that problem , So I guess The Century Arms FAL L1Al Sporter {Thumbhole type } Has the same issues ? So Should I convert It back To Original Style ?, Buy The Newer Version Already Set up ?, trade/ sell The parts kit & Rifle.Scope ect… And Get Something AR-15-ish = Inexpensive Magazines , good parts availability , relatively Inexpensive ammo ???? what do you Thinl ???

I would sell the rifle and put the $ toward the purchase of an AR myself, it is a versatile platform and easy to convert to .22 long rifle for inexpensive practice sessions. google MGI hydra and look at their modular lower, they also sell an upper that allows you to quickly change barrels out . the possibilities are endless with this platform, google ar57 upper, 50 beowulf upper, .50 cal ar upper, 5.45 ar upper, also there is a neat new bumpfire stock out for the the ar the ssar15 by slidefire looks like it would be alot of fun, hope this helps
