Stock Mossberg
loose stock on mossberg 835?
I have had a mossberg 835 for about 4 or 5 years and the stock has now got some play in it not a lot just a little after almost a thousand magnum rounds through it. Is this normal? Can it be fixed easily? Would a remington 870 or 11-87 hold up better with 3 and 3 1/2 inch buckshot and magnum steel shot.Is a wood or synthetic stock tougher or about the same. thanks
Take off the butt plate and you should see a screw. Try tightening the screw and see if that helps. If not you might just want to try replacing the stock and screw to see if it helps. Something might of have worn loose.
