Mako M4-Style Recoil Reducing Stock for a Rem 870?
Is it worth the money?
Not when compared to the Knoxx stock for the 870 that does the same thing, at about half the cost.
There are a few “advantages” over the Knoxx that in a practical, real world sense amount to basically nothing. You are in effect paying $100+ dollars for useless trinkets.
NOTE– I mean the Knoxx collapsible, not the wire folder. The folder isn’t worth the money, either and is fairly problematic. Also keep in mind that a limited number of people who use the Knoxx stock have issues with mounting things on the foregrip or using the Surefire integral light forearm. Honestly, it’s a matter of improper technique or super big hands– both of which can be overcome with training/practice.
