Stripper Clips and M1A?
Considering getting a bunch of stripper clips. How well do they work to load directly into the magazine, while mag is fixed in rifle? what size should I get? Anybody got any experience or problems with this? Or any basic knowledge with stripper clips and how to use them properly.

When I started shooting high power rifle in competition, I was weened on stripper clips with my M1903A3 Springfield!
Stripper clips make a very fast, easy, and safe reload! With stripper clips and a Springfield, you can go from an empty rifle to a ready to fire rifle in under 10 seconds!
Provided your M1a has the stripper clip guide installed (and not removed to mount the detachable scope mount Springfield offers, Using stripper clips to load a magazine attached to your rifle is as easy as sliding your feet into a pair of sandals!
You should get any stripper clips designed for a .30 rifle … if you get surplus US GI stripper clips (the most affordable), you want the 5 round .30 caliber stripper clips, not the 10 round .223 stripper clips!
You may actually find (with practice) that it is easier to reload your M1A with stripper clips through the receiver than it is to remove and re-install the mag in the mag well!
