Suede Leather

How is suede leather made?
I mean, I know that it usually comes from the split part of the leather and is less expensive but also less durable, and blah blah blah blah….I mean, how do they give it the texture it has?
Suede is the reverse of any piece of leather whether it is from the split or the top grain. Top grain sued (hunter suede) is very durable and more expensive than split suede which has less integrity and is usually cheaper. The texture is how the leather is it is not created but is just the fibre construction.
Nubuck is the top grain that has had the surface sanded to create a nap which feels very soft and shades when you run your hand over it.
