Anyone heard of www.dhtinnovations.com?
was looking for an anniversary gift for my boyfriend. Since he is into guns and ammo, I thought I get something in that department. He owns a shotgun, and was talking about dressing it up. I was surfing the web and found a website on embroider Mossberg Forend Tactical Strap at www.dhtinnovations.com. They also sell it for Remington and Winchester. Do you think this would be a good gift?
I answered this in your earlier question that was identical, but since that might be an error I’ll do it here as well.
Getting a man something for his firearms shows a lot of thought, and support for something that he probably won’t expect you to know anything about. Now that I’ve given the woman answer, here’s my manly take on it: Does it fit his firearm and its purpose?
If he only uses that gun for hunting, he doesn’t need or want a tactical strap. If it’s for home defense as well, then he should be quite happy to have it. It’s made for fighting, not hunting. Most men fancy themselves protectors of their kingdoms, and things like this make that job easier.
As for how you can tell: Look at his shotgun. Is it a wood stock or black plastic? Are the grips wood or rubber? If it’s a black plastic and rubber shotgun, then it’s probably at least in part tactical, and a strap like this will suit it well. If it looks like your granddad’s old wood and steel shotgun, it’s probably (but not necessarily) just a hunting gun and this won’t be of much help.
