Tactical Rail
I have a Ruder mini 14 Tactical rifle model 5846. It has a picatinny rail mounted on the top of?
the stock and a couple inches in front of the action. I use my mini for home defense and target practice no more than a 50 yards (150 feet). What would be a good but not to expensive (no more than $225.00) red dot sight or red dot scope for this application. It seems that any red dot scope or sight would be to far away if mounted to the picatinny rail. I’m trying to AVOID from mounting something over the action using the supplied scope rings from Ruger.
I’d say slap a reflex sight on it, or get a better set of sights like XS Big Dot or something of that matter.
Look on cheaper than dirt or sportsmans guide, they also have reviews, I have two Eo tech’s and they are awesome!
