Saiga ak 47 parts and upgrades?
so i went to a gun store looking for a romanian ak and the guy ended up telling me id probably like a saiga more simply for the fact that its a little more accurate and you can still drag it threw the mud and shoot like any other ak
the only problem now is i want to change the grips and the stock
i was told that i need to change out ten parts for american parts to keep it legal ( btw i live in texas not sure if the laws vary by state) he then told me to look up tapco parts and find out what i want and need to change
and this is the part im not so sure about im not experienced with this sort of thing so i dont know exactly what i should be buying here
can anyone help me out?

The law is federal, so it applies to all of the states. It’s called section 922(r) and requires a minimum of U.S. made parts whenever you modify the gun. My advice is to not mod the gun. But if you do, make sure you’re in compliance.
