Thumbhole Stock
Can you buy a bolt-action thumbhole stock rifle in California? If so, are there ammo/mag cap resrictions?
I want to buy a gun in the future (not old enough yet) and I’ve been looking at the Accuracy International AW Magnum as a follow up to my first gun, which will probably be a bolt-action .22. I live in California, and haven’t been able to find any info on the net. I want it just for shooting at the range, not hunting. Suggestions?
You local gun shops can give you the ‘straight and skinny’ on all the rules and laws. You shouldn’t have too much trouble. I have a friend in Cali who owns a .50 cal BMG .. grizzly. He shoots prairie dogs in the desert with it. California has some of the most screwed up ‘law’ I have ever seen.
