How to take orange tip off airsoft gun?

Hello, I just bought a ICS M4 CXP and wish to take off the orange tip. I realize it is on there for my own safety, but you would have to be a complete dumbass to even point it WITH the Orange tip on it at someone. And it really takes away alot of the realism of the gun, anything will help!

The orange tip is there as a requirement of federal law. It is the only thing that distinguishes it from a real gun. I have seen guns that have the tip removed or painted black for display purposes. But any good airsoft field would not let you play without the orange tip.
