whats good rifle mounts/rings?

Hey i have just purchased a remington 700p in 308 and need some suggestions for setup of this rifle.
It is mainly going to be for long range targets 500 yards and out to 1000 i plan on getting a leupold mark 4 4.5x14x50 long range tac or something similar. My problem is what rings and base i should get as i want some fairly good ones also i dont mind all steel as its not for hunting. Where i am i have limited choice cant find badger or seekins but have found warne maxima tactical one piece picatinny 20 moa base which is what im after but are they any good? Ive also found some warne maxima tactical rings and im not sure how good they are either. Theres also leatherwood max tac
rings and base might sound like a stupid question but are they just a warne product or something
different any suggestions any one that has experience with any of these oh and also would i need medium rings for a 50mm objective really dont want high rings? thanks

Personally I recommend SWIFF tactical Medium Rings. These are thick aluminum rings with six bolts per ring and a large hex nut for tightening each ring to a picatinny/ weaver rail. Of course this requires that you mount using a rail system designed for your gun.

I opted for this on my savage, because I firmly believe in overkill. I haven’t had any scope creep or shifting. And I never will, there’s simply too much material. Dropping the gun will damage the scope before it moves these rings.

The SWIFF design is simple and well machined. There is a matte finish. You can buy it in 30mm with 1″ inserts for smaller scopes. There’s also a model which includes a weaver rail on the top of each ring for mounting things like scope levelers.

And these are affordable rings. Yes, you can pay a lot more for rings… but seriously… diminishing returns. All I can tell you is that these don’t budge.
