How do I get water-proof mascara off the wall?

My wonderful son wanted to make me some art. He got into my make up bag and put water-proof mascara all over the hallway wall. I’ve tried everything I could think of, but I can’t get it off! Anyone know of something that will work?
I’ve already tried soap & water, the Mr.Clean magic eraser, soft scrub, bleach, and goo-gone. It’s water-proof! why would water take it off?

Wow! This exact same thing happened to me the other day. (only I dropped the brush) I got it off using makeup remover pad.
IMPORTANT: you HAVE to use a pad that has the oil in it, and not watery stuff. I promise it will come off.
