White Line

My computer wont start up and just stays on a black screen with a white line flashing at the top?

My computer was working completley fine today until my 1 year old daughter got to it. She pressed a heap of buttons then turned it off. Now when we turn it on, it just starts up with one start up screen then stays on a black screen with a little white line flashing in the top left hand corner. Does anyone know how to get past this or reboot it somehow??? Thankyou

Make sure you have on external disk connected to your computer while you turn it on. Check to make sure there’s no cd in the disk drive, no flash drive, no diskettes… Then start it up again.
